Information on refusal to accept incomplete waste equipment


Sims Recycling Solutions Sp. z o.o. can’t accept incomplete used electric and electronic equipment.

The incomplete  waste equipment is the waste equipment, which doesn’t contain important, from the point of view of its designation,  components, sub-assemblies and exploitation materials making a part of the device being the waste equipment, on the date of its marketing.

Legal basis: Article 35 of the Law dated 11th of September, 2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (Journal of Laws Dz.U.  of 2015, item 1688).


Information on the possibility of disposing of waste equipment free of charge


  1. Distributor must collect waste equipment from the households free of charge, in the sales point, provided that the equipment is of the same type and function as the actually sold equipment.
  2. While delivering of the household equipment to the purchaser, the distributor must collect household waste equipment from the place of delivery of this equipment free of charge, provided that the collected equipment is of the same type and function, as the delivered one.
  3. Distributor running retail sales point with the sales area at least 400sq.m. of the dedicated household equipment sales area (within the meaning of Article 2 section 19 of the Law dated 27th of March, 2003 spatial planning), is obliged to collect in that point or in its proximity, the waste household equipment, in which none of the external sizes doesn’t exceed 25 cm, without the necessity of purchasing new household equipment.

Distributor – is defined as a natural person, entity having no legal personality or legal entity in the delivery chain, which is marketing the equipment.
